Family Programs
Tiempon Minagof | Afterschool
An after-school program for children ages 3-10. With a full year of immersed lessons in the CHamoru history, language, and culture, this program allows children and their families to practice and live the CHamoru language and culture in their everyday lives.
Tiempon Somnak | Summer Camp
Our fun-filled, high impact immersion program with the opportunity for youth ages 3-12 to attend an all day summer camp where students are engaged in the CHamoru language through means of cultural activities such as singing, dancing, weaving, chanting, cooking, and numerous hands on activities.
Eskuelan Mañaina
In all of our youth programs, parents are encouraged to commit to their children’s progress by engaging with them in the target language and bringing what they learn into practice at their homes. The objective of these classes is to help parents bridge the gap of learning and using the CHamoru language, empowering them to extend its use into the home. This program is included for enrollment into the Neni Academy, Tiempon Minagof, and Tiempon Somnak programs.
